I have downloaded jForum-v2.5.0 and in the installation guidelines, it states that "WEB-INF/jforumLuceneIndex" should exist, but after unpacking, such a file was not available.

Is it gonna be a problem for the installation or should the documentation be updated?

It means that if the directory does not exist, you should create it with write permissions for the user account that runs JForum.
